On October 16, 2004, Sensei Cheryl had the honor of being inducted into the World Martial Arts Federation Blackbelt Hall of Fame as Female Martial Artist of the year. This prestigious event took place at Jimmy’s Allenhurst in Danvers, MA and was attended by over 150 guests and martial artists from all over the country. The WMAF Blackbelt Hall of Fame was created to recognize the achievements of professional martial artists throughout the world. These elite inductees have demonstrated outstanding achievement and made significant contributions to the martial arts. Sensei Cheryl is a 4th degree Blackbelt in Kempo Karate and was also inducted into the U.S.A. Hall of Fame in April of this year as Female Kempo Instructor of the Year.
Good luck to all of our students who are competing at the Fall WMAF Tournament on Sunday October 5, 2008!
